Thailand

Kantheera Tipkanjanarat is a first-year Masters of Public Affairs student focused on international development at the School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University. Previously, she worked in macroeconomic research and monetary policy in Thailand. After graduating, she hopes to work in poverty and inequality alleviation. She enjoys watercolor painting and reading in her free time.

Mahira Nazniba Rodoshee

Bangladesh

Mahira Nazniba Rodoshee is an undergraduate student at Bangladesh University of Professionals, currently studying in Development Studies. She believes in power of writing to address the issues of grassroots people around the globe. Spreading happiness and positivity is her motto.

Faustina Dizon

Philippines

Faustina Dizon is a first-year Sociology student at the University of Santo Tomas. She has a penchant for exploring the intricacies of the human experience and is currently discovering the beauty and challenges of the field of Sociology while exposing herself to the realities of the world. She plans to pursue a career as a researcher, focusing on pressing social issues the world faces today.

Yayun Lai

China

Yayun Lai is a first-year master's student at Bocconi University, majoring in Economics and Management in Innovation and Technology. She has focused her study on green management and sustainability and is passionate about every opportunity to explore new possibilities. She is a day-dreamer and part-time traveler who expects to connect with the world through words and explorations.

Abdulmalik Adetola Lawal

Nigeria

Abdulmalik Adetola Lawal is an undergraduate at Kwara State University, currently studying mass communication B'sc. I'm also a member of prolific writers and also a writer of many, articles, researches and spoken words poetry. Reading/watching news is always my thing when I'm less busy.

Hans Ethan Carbonilla

Philippines

Hans Ethan Carbonilla is a sophomore at the University of the Philippines Visayas, taking up Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. He contributes news stories to Miagao Tulad, the official publication of his degree program. Watching Korean dramas is what he does in his free time, as well as supporting Korean pop groups.

Lara Grace Palay

Philippines

Lara Grace Palay is a 19-year-old student taking up B.A. in Communication and Media Studies at the University of the Philippines Visayas. She works as a stringer for Palawan News, a local media organization in her hometown Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and a part-time tutor. Lara, an active Girl Scout and leader, spends most of her free time volunteering in community projects, reading, and singing along to Taylor Swift's songs.

Danyun Xiong

China

Danyun Xiong is a college counselor in Shenzhen, China. She has a keen desire for doing fieldwork and social research. Watching nature documentaries and old movies, as well as listening to podcast is her favorite pastime activities.

Than Zin Sann

Myanmar

Than Zin Sann is a final year student, pursuing Bachelors of Arts (Honors) in International Relations at University of Yangon. She is interested in socio-economic issues and passionate about community development. Taking part in youth-led initiatives and community projects is what she enjoys doing and she believes that youth’s participation in social change is critical and has positive impacts for the societal development.

Brynch Bonachita

Philippines

Brynch Bonachita is a sociology student at the University of San Carlos. He writes and edits for the student publication Today's Carolinian and is the chairperson for the Cebu chapter of the College Editors Guild of the Philippines. As an aspiring community journalist, he takes an interest in highlighting stories for and of the people.

Nan Hat Shang Kham

Myanmar

Nan Hat Shang Kham is a 2nd year Honors student majoring in International Relations at University of Yangon. She is also studying Business Studies at Myanmar Institute of Theology and despite studying at two universities, she is working as a part- time Burmese Language Teacher at Teach for ASEAN, a non- profit social enterprise.

China

Kaize Zhu is a senior manager at Suzhou Education Bureau and will be enroll in the master program of National University of Singapore later this year, major in International Affairs. He is passionate about topics related to International Developement & Global Education System.

Harshvi Trivedi

India

Harshvi Trivedi is currently a student of Master's in Public Policy at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and works with the Center for Civil Society. She is an aspiring journalist with a passion for foreign policy, media studies, and development economics. During the weekends, she spends her time reading non-fiction, practicing yoga, and watching Bollywood movies.

Punkhuri Kumar

India

Punkhuri Kumar is in her final semester of M.A. Sociology at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics. She loves working with data and statistics and her areas of interest include gender, economics, social policy and international relations. Most of her free time is dedicated to reading fiction novels and playing her synthesizer.

Myanmar

Thawdar lwin is a final-year master student majoring in Public Administration at National Institute of Development Administration, Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently writing her independent study for her master degree. Apart from basic housework, reading, writing and listening to music is her daily job.

Marc Adrian Aguilar

Philippines

Marc Adrian Aguilar is a communications student from the Philippines. Aside from studying, he makes time to volunteer for different organizations that fight for social change. In his spare time, Marc likes attending webinars and watching movies.

Zin Wai Yan

Myanmar

Zin Wai Yan is currently doing a liberal arts and sciences program at Parami Institute of Continuing Education. He did English for his bachelor’s degree at Shwebo University. He pulled off A+ in the first-semester research project which was about the role of Wa and China in the peace process of Myanmar while reading up on the other four courses at Parami. If you are the one who wants to talk about football, he could definitely geek out and talk your ear off about it.

Liuliu Zhang

China

Liuliu is a project manager at One Foundation in Shenzhen, China. She loves making friends with complete strangers, playing and listening to music. She spends most of her free time watching movies and secretly plans to make a movie after she has enough money and time.

Phoo Pwint

Myanmar

Phoo Pwint is an undergraduate student at Yangon University of Economics, specializing in Public Administration.She is passionate about solving social issues and building a better community for the youths. Also, a fast learner who is interested in Sustainable Development goals, Data Analytics, and entrepreneurship and Innovation. Reading stories and binge-watching movies is what she enjoys doing during her free time as well as listening to music and drawing portraits.

Siyi Chu

China

Siyi is currently a freelance writer, film practitioner, and career explorer. Before leaving her job in 2020, she worked at education and social services nonprofits that served various communities around the world. In her spare time, you can often catch Siyi wandering around, devouring food or books, dancing without knowing how to, or armchair-philosophizing.

Sumaiya Tasnim Adiba

Bangladesh

Sumaiya Tasnim Adiba is a student at Islamic University of Technology aspiring to be an Electrical Engineer in the future. She feels the most comfortable through her written words and that way, she feels like she can speak more. The vast world of marketing and entrepreneurship intrigues her, so she intends to explore more in those areas through her writing and other means possible. She's also a music freak person, she connects with low-hum tunes in a way that she never can with a living person and writing while listening to songs is what makes her feel truly alive.

Ananya Radhakrishnan has completed her undergraduate degree in Economics, Political Science and Sociology from Christ University, Bangalore. She has a keen interest in media, international politics and closely follows various policy issues.

Ramya Tulasi

India

Ramya Tulasi is a master's student specialized in Financial Economics (Dep of Econometrics) from the University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is a Youth Rights Advocate working with national and international youth-led organizations as a core team member. She actively advocates for the social dimensions of life, youth rights, and sustainable development goals through her writing, research, live sessions, dialogues and discussions, and work. Currently, she is working with the Indian Youth Café as Chief Operating Officer(COO) in Chennai.

Bao Yu

China

Bao Yu is an assistant professor in Guangzhou Academy of Social Sciences. She provides diplomatic decision-making advisory reports in the Institute of International Studies for local government. As a young Chinese scholar, she has spoken at many international academic conferences.

Frances Kristine Alvero-Laguda

Philippines

Frances works for the government sector as an Information Officer. She serves as a stringer for the Philippine News Agency once in a while and enjoys surfing the net and learning how to properly grow plants in her spare time.
