Abubakar Balogun
Nigeria
Abubakar Balogun is a seasoned Social entrepreneur, Educator, Freelance Writer, and Polyglot. He is the co-founder and the Center Manager at Prikkle Academy Makerspace where he is helping grassroots kids discover their potentials and channeling them towards social good. Friends described him as a forward-thinking, pragmatic, and easy-going person. In his free time, he loves reading, playing football, hiking, and volunteering.

Aung Myin Thu

Aung Myin Thu is the founder and lead instructor of Adhipati Education Group that offers quality English courses that foster 21st century skills and lifestyle competency in communications, critical thinking and career empowerment, with competitive pricing, in order for the youth to be prepared for professional and scholarly ventures. He is passionate about teaching and reading stories.

Hedwig Arinaitwe is a community journalist volunteering with Network for Active Citizens, an NGO in Uganda, She is also a blogger/freelance journalist. She is a Future News Worldwide alumnus and loves to create solutions that can impact the world positively. She loves to meet new people, travel and learn new things.

Hein Thu Soe is an 18-year-old student specializing in Port and Harbour major at Myanmar Maritime University. Despite being an engineer student, he’s always eager to be a part of changes in community either small or large scaled impact. Whilst doing his academic and activities, he loves to indulge himself in expressive arts on social issues during his spare times.

Ibraheem Abdullateef is a Nigerian writer and freelance journalist with dozens of publications in national and international platforms, currently studying Mass communication at Kwara State University. He is also an advocate of SDGs 4, 5 and 6 as the founder of Torchbearers Impact Network. Reading, writing and traveling are his hobbies, as well as mentoring young ones in education and leadership.

Jason Kang is a master's degree student at Tsinghua University of China. He is passionate about technology and sustainable development.

Jiaman Lian
China
Jiaman Lian is a graduate student majoring in development studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She used to work as a documentary filmmaker and visited 40 countries. She pays special attention to poverty and inequality, social stigma, and social entrepreneurship. She loves swimming, daydreaming, and learning different musical instruments.

Jiayi Wong

Jiayi (Alicia) Wong is a third year undergraduate at the Australian National University pursuing a Bachelor of International Relations with interests in sustainable development particularly in emerging economies as well as East Asia Geopolitics. On the weekends, you'll find her catching up on her Chinese dramas or playing table tennis with her pals.

Kyal Sin Phu is currently a third-year-honours student studying English Language and Literature at University of Yangon. She writes articles at Sunday Special section of the Global New Light in Myanmar. She is keen on reading but sometime indulged herself with Korean Drama and shopping.

Sarulchana (Pam) Viriyataveekul is a life-long learner, currently working as a research assistant in the development sector. Her volunteering and academic experience in Seattle, Brisbane, Tangier, Karachi, and Lund has nurtured her passion for sustainable social change, particularly at the nexus of people empowerment and global health justice. You can normally find her either accumulating more books than she can read, or listening to podcasts about inspiring everyday heroes she hopes to have tea with one day.

Raywin Taroaniara is an environment and climate change graduate from the University of South Pacific. She is passionate about her work as a youth worker. Reading non-fiction and thrillers is what she does in her free time, as well as running mentoring and training sessions for youths on soft-skills.

Samyuktha Sethuraman is a student at Christ University, who is currently pursuing her Masters in Developmental Studies. Apart from writing, some of her passions include dancing and fitness. Her free time is dedicated in binge-watching series and movies on Netflix and listening to music.

Shah Tazrian Ashrafi is a freelance journalist based in Dhaka. He is currently studying International Relations at Bangladesh University of Professionals. He writes for The Daily Star and Dhaka Tribune. His literary pieces have appeared in Critical Muslim, The Aleph Review, Six Seasons Review, The Metaworker, Kitaab, Daily Times, and The Penmen Review.
